What Sorts of Nappies are Available?
Flat Nappies
This is a general term used for squares of cotton. Terries are still used but
are out sold many times by Prefolds. These are folded, a liner used inside next
to the baby’s skin, and an outer waterproof cover (wrap).
Shaped Nappies
This style needs no folding. They must still be used with liners and covers.
All-in-one
This is a shaped nappy with the outer cover already attached. You just need to slip in a liner.
One size fits all
These are shaped nappies which can be adjusted to fit different sized babies. All other nappies are normally sized small, med, large etc

Tots Bots
Tots Bots are a range of shaped cloth nappies. They
are elasticated for a neat, leakproof fit and have Aplix fastenings. Forget
fiddly folds, nappy pins and horrible plastic pants, Cloth nappies have evolved! Have you cottoned on yet?

Rainbow Tots
Made from lighter weight towelling, these nappies are
slim fitting, quick drying and come in a cute range of colours; Pink, Blue,
Orange, Green, Yellow and Lilac.
Available in aplix or nippa fastenings.
Ideal for daytime use.
Size 1 Nappi Nippa version will fit from 5lbs & size
2 from 10lbs.
Bamboozle
Comfortable, silky soft nappy made from the finest
East Asian Bamboo.
Naturally antibacterial.
Tests have shown bamboo fibre to be up to 60% more
absorbent than cotton and that it dries up to 20% faster.

Bamboo is a highly eco-friendly material which grows
naturally without the need for chemical pesticides or fertilisers. It has a very
short growth cycle, is easily cultivated and is totally bio-degradable.

Fluffle
Twice as absorbent as cotton towelling.
Super soft (stays soft even after washing in hard
water).
Quick drying (dries in much the same time as a terry
square).
Extendable weight range (one simple fold turns the
size 1 into a prem nappy and the size 2 into a birth to toddler).
Antibacterial.
Choice of Nippa or Popper fastening.
Tots Wrap
Worn over the top of the nappy, with soft leg binding
which is gentle to baby skin.
Snug fitting with Aplix fastenings.
Crossover tabs enable them to expand as your baby
grows.
Ideal for day and night.

Mother-ease®
With multiple awards in 2004, 2005 and 2006 Mother-ease® offer a range of innovative cloth nappies products for the environmentally concerned, as well as the cost conscious parent. Our cloth nappies are contoured and elasticized for a snug, comfortable and leak proof fit. The unique Mother-ease® shape and design makes our products as easy to use as disposable nappies. Mother-ease® range
One Size™
This fits from newborn to toilet training. This
amazing cotton terry nappy actually grows with your child! Soft rib-knit binding
covers the elastic at waist and leg openings. The strategically placed snaps are
meant to be manipulated to accommodate your baby's growing needs, and are
reinforced to ensure that they never pull out of the nappy. Our brushed cotton
terry provides your baby with a wonderful, comfortable and beautifully-fitting
garment.
One Size Dry™
These nappies have been developed to offer parents the convenience and reputation of the Mother-ease One Size nappy along with the dryness of our specially knit stay dry fabric. One Size Dry™ nappies have a layer of light weight stay dry fabric sewn to the inside of the nappy to provide a "Stay Dry Barrier" between the nappy and your baby's tender bottom. Our "stay dry" fabric is custom knit from 100% polyester to quickly wick moisture through the fabric and leave baby's skin feeling dry. It also helps prevent staining and makes the nappies easier to rinse off.
Sandy's™
These nappies are made from our same soft stretchy
terry cloth using the same quality of workmanship, but they have an extra layer
of absorbent cotton sewn to the inside of the nappy. The fit of the nappy is
slightly roomier. Elastic at the waist front and back as well as the leg
openings, together with the snap closures at the sides create a clean pant-like
look. Our large Sandy's™ is one of the most absorbent nappies ever. This nappy
comes in two sizes, small for the newborn and large starting at 20 lbs.
All in One
Just as handy as any disposable and much more leak
proof, our Mother-ease® All In One nappies are highly breathable with the same
side venting and adjustable snap enclosures as the Air Flow™ Snap Cover. Elastic
all around gives the baby a comfortable, "no restriction" stretchy fit. The
inner fabric is made of our knit cotton terry. The outer waterproof fabric is
the same as we use in our covers, 100% polyester bonded to a durable urethane. A
few kept handy in the nappy bag is a good idea. This is an especially wonderful
nappy for those days when very quick changes are essential.
Air Flow™ Wrap
Finally! A leak-proof nappy cover that refuses to
compromise breathability! We searched for over a year to find just the right
fabric that would meet our quality standards. The fabric needed to be soft,
durable and waterproof. The Air Flow™ Snap Cover, with adjustable snaps at the
waist and leg openings has an air ventilation system between the snaps. This
allows for maximum air circulation as baby moves, reducing the risk of bacteria
by keeping the temperature inside the nappy down. And, unlike Velcro, the
curious baby can’t undo them, so they stay on until you take them off.
Rikki Wrap
We
do also offer an extraordinary "Velcro®" wrap. Our Aplix® hook and loop
fasteners are of the highest quality and covered on the inside by a small skirt
to prevent the leakage so common to other wraps. The fabric is the same as our
Air Flow™ Snap Cover. It fits snugly over our Sandy's™ or One Size™ nappies. It
can also be used effectively with prefolds, and other brands of shaped pin less
nappies. It is so easy to use. Gusseted leg openings ensure a snug fit. Our
elastic edges are covered with a superior nylon binding which helps prevent
moisture from wicking onto baby’s clothes.
The Air Flow™ and Rikki cover complement either the One Size™ or Sandy's™ nappy to create a highly breathable, leak proof nappy system.
